The No.1 Golf Resort in France
Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort***** is the No.1 Golf Resort in France, nestled in the sun-drenched hills of Provence.
The golfing experience is exceptional, with 36 championship holes and Europe's best performance centre blending in with an unspoilt landscape of pine trees, vineyards and olive groves.
It is the first and only Troon Privé-affiliated property in France, connected to 145 other private golf clubs around the world.
Off the course, a five-star hotel awaits, complemented by a world-class spa and a Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Faventia.
Just 45 minutes from Nice Airport and a stone's throw from the Côte d'Azur, it is an idyllic escape for discerning golfers and their families.
Golf Courses
Two internationally-renowned 18-hole championship courses
Le Château
An iconic course in a pristine natural setting
Carefully routed around the natural contours of the Provence hills, this Dave Thomas-designed gem is one of France's finest championship courses.
Stretching more than 7,200 yards from the back tees, Le Château stands out for its vast rolling landscapes and spectacular water features.
It is a joy for the senses, with every shot accompanied by stunning views, the scent of pines and the sound of cicadas.
Broad fairways encourage confident driving, while intelligently placed bunkers, water hazards and subtly contoured greens demand precision and thoughtful course management.
Host of the French Riviera Masters on the PGA Senior Tour (now the Legends Tour) from 2012 to 2015, its name pays homage to Château Bouge, which can be seen from several holes on the course.
Le Riou
Spectacular panoramas at every turn
Set high in the hills above the resort, Le Riou is shorter than Le Château (6,500 from the back tees) but no less challenging, and benefits from the same immaculate conditioning.
Reserved exclusively for members and hotel guests, it is a wonderful test for golfers of all abilities, with tree-lined fairways and subtly contoured greens requiring thoughtful shot-making.
The par-4 sixth hole is a sight to behold, and the signature par-5 18th, with a fairway flanked by cascading water, will make you want to carry on playing.
Also designed by the acclaimed architect Dave Thomas, Le Riou has hosted the Terre Blanche Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour Access Series since 2010.

Its commitment to sustainable practices has been recognised with the following respected statuses:

The resort ensures a harmonious balance between golf, nature and tourism with initiatives that include:
- Converting to drought-resistant Bermuda grass
- Advanced automated water management and on-site wastewater treatment. No potable water is used for irrigating the courses and green spaces; instead it comes from a dedicated source - a 7km-long lake
- Local biodiversity mapping project in partnership with the local town of Tourettes to better understand the area's flora and fauna
- Dedicated multi-year programmes to promote biodiversity on the golf courses and provide safe habitats for birds, butterflies and small mammals. These are carefully monitored every year
- Clear communication to golfers and guests about the sustainable practices, native species and habitats at the resort and engage them in conservation efforts
- Limited amenities in rooms to reduce waste. Extras such as cotton buds are available but not provided automatically
